THE WHY

We believe in gritβ€”the steady resilience that helps you show up, even when it’s tough.

 In July 2020, Cathy and I realized our dream and opened The Cord. We wanted to create a center where like-minded therapists from different perspectives provide comprehensive support to individuals and families. We’ve also always known that we wanted to mentor new therapists. That’s why we’ve created The Gritty Therapist Courses. 

Fast forward to now, 2025...and we are evolving again...this time with a little more Grit. We are excited to announce that in addition to The Cord, and Provisional 360 Academy, we are launching a podcast and resource center for Therapists!

The Gritty Therapist is our new brand! Our podcast, Gettin’ Gritty, and soon-to-be resource hub is built for clinicians who want practical, real-world tools to grow in the therapy room - without burning out.
